Soprano Caroline Carter is pursuing a career in vocal performance and arts management throughout the world. She was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in 2007, and has been an active member of The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation ever since. At JDRF, she advocates, teaches, continues to learn, and manages her life with a chronic illness as strongly as possible. In her undergraduate career, she spent three summers in Italy interning and performing to learn more about the administrative side of the performing arts, as well as singing in Bel Canto and Italian Opera styles. In 2018, Caroline graduated from Meredith College, in Raleigh, NC, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a Professional Performance Certificate and a minor in Arts Management. Following a summer performing with the American Institute of Musical Studies in Graz, Austria, Caroline began her Master of Music in Opera Performance here at Oklahoma City University. Ms. Carter is recognized for roles that reveal a captivating full lyric soprano with an acclaimed versatile range. She is celebrated not only as a singer, but also as a dancer, actress, plant momma, cardio queen, choreographer, composer, music teacher, yogi, amateur foodie, blogger, stage manager, director, dog lover, and front of house manager.
