Submit Your Talk

We're glad you're thinking about submitting a talk.

If you had five minutes to talk to OKC, what would you say? What if you only got 20 slides that advanced automatically every 15 seconds? Is there a life lesson, interesting anecdote, little known fact, big idea, success or failure, or some other 5-minute / 20 slide chunk of thought-provoking awesomeness you’re dying to share?

Then lay it on us, and submit your talk. If you're not really sure yet about the format, watch some of our previous speakers on our YouTube Channel first.

Ignite is looking for talks that will enlighten and inspire Oklahoma City’s business and creative community. We are *NOT* looking for recruiting or product pitches. This is *NOT* the place to be all self promotional or spammy. Talk ideas that seem too spammy will be rejected in favor of those that show more passion, interesting-ness, and spark. So be sparky, not spammy!

Having said all that, if you're still on board with your talk idea(s), we'd first like you to create a profile so we can learn a bit about you. After that, we'll let you freely submit your talk ideas. We'll be reviewing them as they're submitted and will post them live on the talks page once approved. The talks page will have a stream of talk submissions in which people can vote on their favorites. The IgniteOKC steering committee will take each talk's votes to heart when it's time to select our presenters, but the voting alone will not necessarily decide which talks are chosen.
